Dear Birthmom

Thank you for taking the time to read about us and getting to know us as we know your time is valuable. We hope this letter finds you well. We understand your concerns and worries and hope getting to know us helps you feel strong and supported. We personally want to thank you for all the sacrifices you have made and all the challenges you have faced with giving your baby a chance at life. We respect you and hope we can be here for you during this time in your life. We thank you for considering us and getting to know us while you are looking for a family to care for your baby.

Your baby would have an opportunity to grow up in a home full of love, laughter, support, and fun if you choose us. We will encourage them to find their passions and grow their knowledge through different experiences. It is important to us to carry forward the compassion and gratitude on this adoption journey so your child knows they will always be loved and valued.

We understand this is a difficult time, and we hope we can be a part of your story. Our hearts will be full with the opportunity to love your child as our own.

Best wishes,
Megan and Angela

Our Story

We both grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs, and we met while attending physical therapist assistant school in 2017. Our connection deepened, leading us to buy our home and welcome our beloved dog, Molly. In October 2021, we celebrated our union with an intimate ceremony followed by a lively reception with loved ones.
For over a decade, we've dedicated ourselves to the physical therapy field, finding fulfillment in helping others. Our passion lies in promoting an active and happy lifestyle. Through our work in physical therapy, we empower patients with stretching, strengthening exercises, and education for their recovery. Our dynamic as a sarcastic and fun-loving couple extends past our shared professional passions.

Individually, Angela loves to read, garden and spend her free time outside. Megan loves to try new recipes in the kitchen, catch up on her favorite TV shows, and play puzzle games. Weekends are intentionally spent together, whether grocery shopping, taking long walks with Molly, dining out, enjoying ice cream, or unwinding with movies. We eagerly anticipate sharing these experiences and more with a child.

 Our Extended Family

We are fortunate to have both of our parents as well as our siblings and their families close by. Megan has a younger brother who is married with a one year old son and baby girl on the way. Angela has an older sister who is married with a six year old daughter.
Our lives are already so richly filled with the love and laughter of family. We treasure the moments spent with our niece and nephew exploring new parks, playing board games, having sleepovers, and going to Disney on Ice. Family gatherings, whether for a simple dinner, a trip to the zoo, or celebrating the Fourth of July are the cornerstones of our happiness. The close proximity of our aunts, uncles, and cousins further strengthens these bonds, making holidays and birthdays special.

We love building a strong community by sharing meals, enjoying local concerts, and celebrating special moments with our wonderful friends and neighbors. While our hearts overflow with affection for our existing family and friends, the prospect of adopting a child of our own is a cherished dream. We envision opening our hearts and home to a child who will become an integral part of our loving family unit.

 Our Home

We live in a family-friendly neighborhood where we are walking distance to bike paths, schools, restaurants, and multiple parks. One of our favorite activities is to walk up to the local custard shop on a hot summers night. Throughout the year, our park district has different family activities and events as well as monthly music in the park during the summertime. We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with a nice fenced-in yard to sit, garden, grill, and play with our dog, Molly. Molly is a four-year-old corgi/Australian cattle dog mix. She is a very cuddly and sassy dog that loves to play fetch outside. Molly loves everyone. She is especially gentle and playful with our niece and nephew.

 Our Journey to Adoption

One of our favorite things to do as a couple is travel. We love to take driving trips up to Michigan to visit various beach towns, hike the dunes, enjoy local coffee shops and restaurants, and shop. We have enjoyed hiking in the Great Smoky mountains and Grand Canyon where we can see waterfalls, wildlife and scenic views.

One of favorite family places to visit is Disney World. This place holds a special place in our hearts, filled with magic as we spent our honeymoon there. We also love taking relaxing vacations to Mexico where we can take in the sun and local culture. Our wish is to have many more unforgettable adventures with a child to continue making these lifelong memories.
