Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We cannot fully understand what you may be feeling, but we deeply respect your strength, your love, and the care you are putting into this decision for your child. It means a lot to us to be considered.

We want your child to grow up in a home where they feel safe, supported, and truly loved every single day. Our life is centered around connection, whether that is time with family, quiet moments at home, or shared experiences together. We believe children do best when they feel secure and encouraged to become who they are, and we will always provide that kind of environment.

We look forward to everyday moments like reading bedtime stories, exploring new places, and supporting your child in whatever interests they develop. We have been fortunate to experience different parts of the world, and we hope to share that sense of curiosity and openness with your child, while also creating a home that feels steady and grounding.

Your child will grow up knowing how much they are loved by you and the care that went into your decision. We will always honor your place in their story with respect and openness.

Thank you for considering us. We are thinking of you with care and gratitude.

With appreciation,
Art and Gina

Our Story

We are a fun-loving couple who enjoy both adventure and the simple things in life. On a typical weekend, we start the day with coffee and decide if we are heading to the gym, catching a movie, or getting out of the house for the day. Some weekends are relaxed at home, and others include time with friends or a spontaneous trip to Downtown Disney.

Travel is a big part of our lives, and we have been fortunate to experience different cities, cultures, and ways of life together. At the same time, we value coming home, slowing down, and having a space that feels calm and consistent.

Gina is a physician in addiction and mental health who leads treatment programs, helping people recover and rebuild their lives. Outside of work, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, and exploring new places.

Art works as a peer support coach in substance recovery, helping people navigate challenges and build more stable, healthy lives. He also manages artists and enjoys Muay Thai and spending time with friends and family.

We often joke that Gina is the CEO and Art is the COO of our lives. We support each other, communicate openly, and handle life as a team.

 Our Extended Family

Family is a big part of our lives, and your child will grow up surrounded by people who genuinely care about them. Art’s sister Nida and her wife Amber live in Northern California with their son Andy, and we stay closely connected through visits, holidays, and regular time together. Gina’s close friends Tachi and Alex, who live in Los Angeles, will be maternal godparents and bring warmth, humor, and strong support into our lives. Gina’s lifelong friends Dee and Alicia live in Phoenix, and Gina is the proud godmother to their daughter Luna, who we imagine your child growing up close with. We also have a close group of friends here in Southern California who feel like family and are part of our everyday lives. Whether it is holidays, shared meals, or simple weekends together, your child will be surrounded by people who show up, stay connected, and care deeply.

 Our Home

Our home in southern California is a warm and welcoming space in a family friendly neighborhood with great schools, friendly neighbors, and easy access to parks, hiking trails, and nearby beaches. We love that we can spend time outdoors, be near the ocean, or visit places like Disneyland and other local spots where families gather and make memories. It is a place where we unwind after busy days, spend time together, and stay connected. Our home is a safe, supportive environment filled with laughter, consistency, and care. We are excited to build a life here with a child that is full of love, curiosity, and meaningful experiences.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We have wanted to be parents since we met, and adoption feels like the right path for us. Art’s mom was adopted, which makes this journey especially meaningful and personal. Her story showed us how powerful it is to grow up in a loving and supportive home, and we are honored to continue that legacy.

We are excited to welcome a child into our lives and create a home filled with love, stability, and a strong sense of belonging from the very beginning. We look forward to sharing life with your child, supporting who they are, and helping them feel confident, cared for, and at home in our family.
