Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I can't begin to imagine the emotions and decisions you are facing right now, and I want you to know that I deeply respect and admire your strength and love for your child. This decision you are contemplating is the most selfless decision any person could ever make.
Life did not take me down the traditional path of motherhood. After realizing that pregnancy was not an option for me, my journey has led me to LifeLong Adoptions. I finally found a renewed sense of hope and excitement about the possibility of becoming a mother.
Adoption has already touched my life in a beautiful way. My sister-in-law chose adoption for her first daughter and she is surrounded by a loving and supportive adoptive family. Their ongoing relationship has shown me how special and meaningful adoption can be. I would be honored to provide that same kind of love and stability for a child.
As the birth mother, you will always have a special place in my heart and family. My arms are wide open to embrace you and your child. If you choose me as an adoptive parent, please know that your child will always know how deeply they are loved. No matter where your journey takes you, I wish you peace and strength in your decision. Thank you again for considering me and may you forever be blessed.

My Story
Hi there! I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I can only imagine how many emotions you may be feeling as you make this important decision, and I want you to know that I deeply respect and admire your strength. I am a laid-back country girl who enjoys spending time in nature, riding horses, hiking, relaxing by a campfire, or watching a good movie. I earned a degree in Agriculture and later chose to serve my country by joining the Army after 9/11. Through my service, I became a Certified Laboratory Technician. The Army has given me incredible opportunities to travel the world and experience different cultures. I love being a soldier; more than that, I take pride in mentoring and guiding younger soldiers to become capable leaders.
My Extended Family
My father's side of the family is of Native American and European descent. My father is no longer with us; he passed away in 2022 from COVID complications. I have two aunts and five cousins on his side, all of whom live in Oregon. My mother's side of the family is of mixed European descent. I have four cousins on her side, and all of them live in Northern California.
I have a younger brother and sister. My brother and his wonderful wife have two children who are both active in the high school drama club. Both my brother and sister-in-law are former Marines and live in Southern California. My caring sister has two lovely children of her own, both are pre-teens, and they live in Northern California.
Ten years ago, my mother had a medical emergency and was unable to care for herself, so I brought her to live with me. She became healthier, stronger, more independent, and self-sufficient. This last year, she had another medical emergency and now resides in a rehabilitation facility recovering. I spend a couple of hours with her sharing dinner and enjoying the evenings on weekends.

My Home
I live in a small tight-knit neighborhood in the country, but close enough to get to town in 10 minutes. My spacious modern farmhouse-styled home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, open living space concept, and sits on two tranquil acres, providing plenty of room for 17 chickens, three horses, two dogs, and a macaw to roam. Washington State provides a plethora of activities like ski resorts, hiking trails, lake activities, and a short drive to the city yields the Space Needle, T-Mobile or Lumen Field to catch a game, Pike Place Market, and several museums to visit.
My Journey to Adoption
I always dreamed of becoming a mom one day. Life took unexpected turns, and after realizing that the experience of pregnancy was not possible, I began exploring alternatives to growing my family. I was disappointed to learn that many agencies don't allow single parents to adopt or foster. I found Lifelong Adoptions, and for the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful and excited. I still have the chance to give a child love, a stable home, and a family to call their own.
My sister-in-law chose adoption for her first daughter. They share a strong bond and continue to have a meaningful relationship. Seeing their journey has shown me how special adoption can be.
