Since meeting in veterinary school 9 years ago, our relationship grew from a friendship into a loving relationship. Mac is from Connecticut and Adam grew up in North Carolina, giving us a blend of Northeast culture and Southern charm. Both of us are outgoing and share the same passion for life. We both come from caring families who are all excited to watch us become parents. We have started a small farm here in Colorado, raising chickens, goats, and horses. We are both veterinarians that work for a university; allowing us to instill a love of learning and curiosity in students. We love to explore the natural beauty of Colorado through biking, hiking, and skiing. Now, we are ready to share these passions with a child and help them discover their own. Our dream is to share our loving home full of family, friends, and animals with our future child.

We are fortunate to come from close-knit and supportive families. Mac has two devoted parents and three siblings, and recently, the joy of his nephew being born. Adam has an amazing mom, stepdad, stepbrother, and cousin who enjoy adventuring with us on our camping and cross-country road trips.


Our families have provided nurturing homes and taught us the value of love and upholding tradition. We enjoy taking trips to see them and always spend the major holidays together. Thanksgiving and Christmas are a staple in our families for bringing everyone together. Every Christmas we have a gingerbread house decorating contest, and the winner gets a surprise present, often a funny one. In Colorado, we have immediate family close by, which includes Mac’s mom and sister, allowing for weekly family dinners and get-togethers.


We have also started to develop our own traditions. We love to travel, and we take frequent day trips and an annual road trip somewhere new and exciting. Every year we host Friendsgiving and a holiday cookie contest with our close friends and family here in Colorado. We are looking forward to including the baby in these traditions while building new and cherished ones that will last years to come.

We live in a charming home in Colorado with a hobby farm and views of the Rocky Mountains. Our community has a small town feel, with numerous family focused farms and activities in the area. As mentioned in our ‘about us’ section, we have several different animals on our farm, and we are excited to nurture love and respect for our animals with a child. Our two dogs, Luna and Tootsie, have always been gentle with children they have met, and love playing with them. This gives us peace of mind that they would welcome a baby into the household. We cannot wait to share Colorado with our future child and watch them grow and experience the joys of a farm surrounded by family.

We both have very close ties to adoption; Adam was adopted as a newborn, and Mac has three older siblings who were adopted from South Korea. Our diverse family backgrounds have ingrained in us the importance of strong family bonds. When we made the choice to grow our own family, we were inspired by our families’ history. Adoption is the best avenue to make our dreams come true. We are eager to open our hearts to a child and to work with you as the expectant mother to provide a loving and supportive home.
