Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
First, thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We can only imagine how much thought, emotion, and love has gone into this journey, and we deeply respect the strength it takes to consider adoption for your child.
Our desire to adopt comes from a place of love, hope, and a dream of becoming parents. We have always hoped to build a family, and adoption feels like a truly meaningful way for us to do that. More than anything, we hope to provide a child with a life filled with love, stability, encouragement, and happy memories.
If chosen, your baby would be welcomed into a home where they are deeply loved, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are. We want them to grow up feeling safe, valued, and proud of their story from the very beginning.
We also want you to know that we have tremendous respect for you and the difficult decisions you are facing. No matter where this journey leads, we are grateful that you would even consider us as potential adoptive parents. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for allowing us to be part of your story in this moment.

Our Story
Our day-to-day life is a balance of work, family, friends, and enjoying the little moments together. Hari works from home in the tech industry, while David runs his own general contracting business. Most weekends are spent with friends and family, and it’s common for someone in our group to host a dinner, cookout, or gathering where everyone comes together to relax and catch up.
Spending time with our dog, Ramu, is also a big part of our lives. We’re fortunate to have a large off-leash park nearby where he loves chasing tennis balls and swimming in the river. In his free time, David enjoys hiking, being outdoors, and working on home renovation projects, while Hari loves cooking, trying new recipes, and reading.

Our Extended Family
Hari and I are fortunate to have a close-knit network of family and friends who mean so much to us. Many of our weekends are spent hosting or attending dinners, cookouts, birthdays, and holiday gatherings with friends who feel like extended family.
Family is deeply important to both of us. Hari’s parents live with us for part of each year and bring so much warmth, love, and family tradition into our home. A child in our family would grow up connected not only to our loved ones here in the United States, but also to a large extended family in India. Visiting family in India and staying connected to those relationships will always be an important part of our lives, and we look forward to raising a child with an appreciation for different cultures, traditions, and experiences.
David has a sister nearby in Washington, along with her children and grandchildren, and they are a cherished part of our family life. David’s extended family comes together often for holidays, celebrations, and major life events, creating the kind of close family environment where children grow up feeling supported, included, and deeply loved.

Our Home
We live in Washington, where we own a home in a quiet, family-friendly community surrounded by parks, trails, and beautiful scenery. One of the things we love most about living here is the balance between nature and community — there are always opportunities to explore the outdoors, visit local events, or spend time with friends and family nearby. Our area is known for its strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to raise a child. We also have a 6-year-old Chocolate Lab named Ramu, who is gentle, loving, and a favorite among all of our friends’ kids.
Our Journey to Adoption
One of the things David admires most about Hari is his ambition, drive, and outgoing personality. Hari has a naturally warm and bubbly nature, and it’s not uncommon for him to effortlessly become the center of attention in any room he’s in. People are naturally drawn to his energy, sense of humor, and ability to make everyone feel included and comfortable. Beneath that outgoing personality is someone who is deeply caring, thoughtful, and devoted to the people he loves.
Hari admires David’s loyalty, determination, and big heart. David is the type of person who will always show up for the people he cares about, no matter what. He brings energy, humor, and warmth into everyday life, and his love for family, friends, and home is reflected in everything he does. Together, we balance and support one another in ways that make us stronger as partners and excited to become parents together.
