We lead a vibrant, fulfilling life brimming with creativity, exploration, and appreciation for both simple joys and sophisticated pleasures. As a realtor with a flexible schedule, Jay enjoys crafting elaborate home-cooked meals, tending our garden, and tackling carpentry projects like building historically accurate trim. Michael, working in the family business, stays committed to weightlifting for strength and discipline, while indulging in reading and admiring art.
We share a lifelong passion for rowing, having both competed nationally in high school and college. Together, we savor good food, daily morning coffee runs, stunning architecture, landscaping our yard, and dreaming of building homes. Laughter fills our days, strengthening our bond.
Our spirited West Highland White Terrier, Gus—bursting with personality—brings endless joy, joining us on trails, explorations, or cozy home evenings. Weekends spark adventures: discovering hidden gems, trying new restaurants, or wandering neighborhoods. We adore Boston and New England for its historic charm, coastal beauty, and classic architecture, weaving a balanced rhythm of warm home life and thrilling new experiences.

Jay's family creates memories through shared adventures like attending hockey games, going to dinner, and festive holiday and birthday celebrations. We're especially close to Jay's twin sister Taylor and her fiancé Matt, a devoted firefighter, who brings energy and warmth to every gathering.
Our circle of friends feels like an extended family, and we adore the incredible support they offer from near and far. Michael maintains deep ties with lifelong friends across the country via frequent phone calls and thoughtful gifts by mail, while Jay has built a dynamic, expansive network connected by shared passions like cycling, rowing, woodworking, and academic pursuits. Our Home
Our Colorado home is a beautiful 5-bedroom, 4-bath colonial-style house extensively upgraded with custom carpentry and thoughtful landscaping. It features a gourmet kitchen perfect for family meals and gatherings, along with a stunning backyard filled with lush plants, hardscaping, and plenty of space for relaxation and play. The wrap-around porch shines with vibrant hanging flower baskets and overflowing flower boxes that burst with seasonal color, earning warm compliments from neighbors who often stop to say hello. The neighborhood delights with its unique architecture, abundant open spaces, lovely parks, and a strong sense of community built through regular events like holiday celebrations, block parties, and seasonal gatherings. Kids are everywhere, playing in yards and parks, with several excellent schools nearby, making this a wonderfully family-oriented and welcoming place to raise a child.
Our Journey to Adoption
Some of our favorite adventures take us to the East Coast, where we love exploring cities like Boston, Charleston, and Philadelphia. We enjoy discovering great local food like fresh seafood to classic dishes, while admiring beautiful architecture and diving into American history through museums and historic sites. These trips always leave us energized, more connected to the country’s past, and full of memories we’ll never forget.
We also cherish drives through Colorado’s stunning mountains, with Breckenridge as our favorite nearby escape. The winding roads deliver incredible views and lead to peaceful getaways where we hike, ski, row, or cycle, feeling truly refreshed and close to nature.
Our most special moments often come from traveling to rowing regattas across the country. Watching races on beautiful waterways and sharing the excitement with fellow rowers has helped us build lasting friendships within the community.
