We know there is no way to fully understand or appreciate the weight of the decision you are facing, but please know how deeply we respect your strength and thoughtfulness. We have already been blessed through adoption and feel unbelievably lucky to be parents. We also feel fortunate to be able to maintain a positive and open line of communication with our daughter’s birth mother. Becoming a family in this way has been one of the greatest joys of our lives, and it has only strengthened our hearts and our commitment to growing our family again. We are excited, hopeful, and still a little nervous to take this next step, but we know the love, patience, and dedication to parenthood will only grow. We cannot wait for our child to welcome a sibling and to watch their bond unfold as they grow together. Our joy will be watching them discover their joy.
