Dear Birthmom

We are so grateful to be considered in your potential adoption plan. This cannot be an easy decision to make. Please know that you and your child are equally important, and we want to help support you in this process.

We have both always known that we wanted to have a family. When the time came to start that journey, we were met with infertility. Throughout that time, we realized that we don’t need biology to have an awesome kid and become parents. We are so excited to add a child to our lives.

We will do everything in our power to provide a great life for your baby. We have so much love to offer. It’s the little day-to-day things that we are most looking forward to when having a child - seeing their smile, hearing them laugh as they play, giving them a hug, and watching them learn and grow. We want to encourage your baby to be thoughtful, curious, pursue what they love, and be a kind person. We are also excited to add them to our adventures, even just going to the park or zoo. We have such a great support system of family and friends who are excited to have a new addition to the group.

Again, we are so thankful for your consideration to be parents for your little one. We realize that the blessing for us to become parents is not without your selflessness and love.

Our Story

Our biggest hobby is watching and going to baseball games. We absolutely love it! Our bucket list includes traveling to every major league baseball stadium. So far, we have gone to 8 of the 30 stadiums. We tend to plan our travels around going to a new ballpark. Another hobby we have is fishing, which we do year-round. Josh’s favorite is ice fishing, while Coral prefers the warmth of summer fishing. We enjoy that it gets us outside, even in the winter! Outdoor cooking is another thing we both enjoy. We use our outdoor griddle the most often, while smoking and grilling meats is a favorite on the weekends.
Josh enjoys deer hunting in the fall with his family, while Coral prefers to go to craft fairs with her friends and family. Coral likes to bake and do home DIY projects. She has learned a lot over the years about painting, landscaping, gardening, basic electrical and plumbing. One of Josh’s passions is karate. He is a 5th degree blackbelt, has owned a karate studio for over 10 years, and has taught many kids in our local community.

 Our Extended Family

We are lucky to have close-knit families who are excited to welcome a child into our lives. Coral’s parents have been married for 51 years, and Josh’s parents for over 40, and they have taught us the value of love and commitment. We regularly spend time with our parents, siblings, in-laws, and nephews who live nearby.

One of our favorite traditions is gathering at Coral’s parents’ house for Sunday lunches, where her mom always prepares more food than anyone could possibly eat. We spend holidays with both our immediate and extended families. Summer holidays are often spent at a small lake cabin with Josh’s family, where we enjoy fishing, kayaking, and pontoon rides. We also love camping together, spending evenings around the campfire, playing yard games, and cooking together.

We have a small group of close friends that are very excited for us to add to our family. Some of our good friends only live a few minutes away, and we see them often for game nights and babysitting their three boys. It has been a joy to be a part of their life and watch their boys grow!

 Our Home

We live in Wisconsin on a lovely 1.5 acre lot that has lots of room to play. We have done a lot of landscaping and yardwork to make the outside of our home somewhere we want to spend time. We are looking forward to playing outside with a little one! We have also done many DIY updates to the inside of our home, and would love to have the opportunity to update one of the bedrooms into a nursery! Our house is only 10 minutes from a major city. It is a great community with many parks, bike trails, lakes/rivers, theaters, music festivals, and a children’s museum. Our local school district has a good reputation, smaller class sizes, and provides a great spot for children to learn.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We have been lucky to go on several great trips together. We got engaged on a beach in South Padre Island, TX. Boston was a fantastic trip filled with lobster rolls, cannolis, history, Fenway Park, and lots of walking. We have been to Miami twice, and would go back just to eat stone crab and Cuban food. Hiking in the Grand Canyon is something we will never forget, and hope to do again. Last year, we did a road trip to Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan, and were able to go to three ballparks and the Louisville Slugger Museum. We recently went on our first cruise to the Caribbean and had a blast! We are looking forward to adding a child to our trips in the future!
