Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter. We can only imagine how much strength it has taken to come to this point, and we deeply respect the care and love behind every decision you are making.
If you were to choose us, becoming your child’s family would be one of the greatest honors of our lives. To us, adoption means welcoming a child into a home filled with love, stability, and devotion. Your baby would grow up surrounded by encouragement, laughter, and opportunities to explore who they are, always knowing they are deeply wanted and cherished.
We believe you will always be an important part of your child’s story. Your love, courage, and selflessness will be spoken of with respect and gratitude, and your child will know how much you cared for them from the very beginning. However you choose to move forward in this journey, we support you and your choices.
Our hope is to give your baby a life full of warmth and connection, including busy holidays, family game nights, backyard barbecues, travel, and quiet moments at home. Most of all, a life filled with love and people who are excited to show up for them every single day.
No matter what you decide, we wish you peace and comfort as you move forward. If you do choose us, please know your baby would be welcomed into a family that is ready, grateful, and so excited to love them.

Our Story
We met several years ago while working at the same insurance company and quickly connected through our shared curiosity, sense of humor, and love of staying busy. Chloe works as a project manager and Peter as a business analyst, and we both value careers that challenge us while allowing us to build a stable life together.
Outside of work, we are always seeking our next adventure. Exploring is a big part of who we are, whether hiking in places like Hocking Hills, walking local trails, camping, or traveling whenever possible. Some of our favorite memories include visiting Niagara Falls, exploring Mackinac Island, and traveling through Europe, including Paris, London, and Scotland. We look forward to sharing that sense of curiosity and wonder with a child.
We also have a soft spot for animals, especially Chloe’s parents’ dog, Lucy. When at home, we enjoy renovation projects, creative hobbies, and time with family and friends through game nights, movie dates, and meaningful connection.

Our Extended Family
Our family is a beautiful mix of people from many different backgrounds, and spending time together is one of the things we value most. On Chloe’s side, Christmas is a cherished tradition. Her family gathers at her parents’ home with her brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and grandparents to share a big dinner, open presents from Santa and the grandparents, and enjoy games, dessert, and plenty of laughter.
Chloe’s four-year-old nephew holds a very special place in our hearts, and we love being the best aunt and uncle we can be. Watching him grow, play, and learn has made us even more excited about becoming parents.
The Fourth of July is another favorite tradition, filled with swimming, outdoor games, family cookouts, and a backyard firework show hosted by Chloe’s brother. Those summer days are full of sunshine and togetherness.
We also value our friendships and enjoy spending time with coworkers and longtime friends. Peter’s family, spread across Michigan, reunites each Thanksgiving for meaningful time together. Celebrating holidays, traditions, and everyday moments with loved ones is central to our lives, and we cannot wait to share that joy with a child.

Our Home
Our home is a place we truly love and have worked hard to make our own. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a mudroom, along with a large finished attic upstairs that gives us extra space to relax, play, and grow as a family.
Outside, we have a big backyard with plenty of room to run, garden, and enjoy time together. We have a fire pit where we look forward to roasting marshmallows and making s’mores with friends and family on summer nights.
We live in Michigan, close to both our work and our families, and we are surrounded by schools and parks. We have put a lot of care into improving our home, and we are proud of the cozy, happy space we created.
We do not have any pets right now, but we look forward to choosing one as a family someday.

Our Journey to Adoption
Chloe first learned about adoption through her mom’s best friend, who was adopted and felt like family throughout her childhood. That close relationship showed her how adoption can create deep, lasting bonds. Later, one of Chloe’s closest friends was also adopted, giving her the opportunity to learn firsthand about both the joys and challenges adoption can bring. These experiences shaped her understanding of the importance of honesty, love, and support. When we began talking about starting a family, adoption felt natural for both of us. We believe our child is already out there, and that adoption is the path meant to bring our family togeth
