I can’t imagine what you are currently going through. I know there must be a lot of feelings around this entire process, and all I can hope is for your and your baby’s well-being. I would like to share a bit about me and my journey to motherhood. I am 41 years old, and over the last 20 years I spent quite a bit of my time and effort in caring for those I love and nurturing a career. I’ve wanted to be a parent since I can remember, but during my 20s I focused on college and I worked hard to advance in my career. I also had some failed relationships and learned a lot during that time. I started to really take steps to become a parent in my mid 30s, and went to an IVF clinic, and looked into adoption. Last year I decided to solidify my plan to adopt, and I found Angel Adoption. I have made all the preparations to be ready for a baby (or more) in my home. My mom, my brother, my friends are all ready as well. Even my dogs are ready. I’ve also spoken to my priest. I know this decision is difficult, but I can only promise you that I will give the baby all my love, my time, my resources, and ensure they grow up in a safe, loving and uplifting household.
