Hello! We are Alexis and Christa.
First we want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us and commend you for your strength in going through the adoption process. We know your heart is looking to find that one couple who can provide a safe, stable home for your baby. We want to ensure that you know if you end up choosing us, the baby will always be loved and supported by not only us, but our entire family. Family isn’t just blood; it’s love, care, support, sacrifice, and standing by each other. Whether you prefer contact or not, we do understand that you are and always will be family of not just the baby, but us as well. We are all here to support one goal; ensuring your baby is happy, healthy, safe, and loved.
We have both always wanted children and made attempts to have them ourselves, however, this did not work out for us. We never gave up hope and since we had always planned to eventually adopt, we simply put one foot forward and kept going. Alexis has family that was also adopted and will be able to provide additional support to our child with that shared experience.
Our goals as parents are to provide a safe, trusting environment where a child will feel confident, loved, and supported.

Our Story
We met in 2014 during college, and have been married since 2022. We have built an amazing life with each other, going from a 500 square foot apartment to buying our first home together with a nursery ready for a child to call home. Our relationship is built off of communication, understanding, respect, and pure love for each other. One of our “relationship staples” is always telling each other I love you, “more and more every day”.
Alexis is confident, admirable, and selfless. She is always stepping up when others need help. She is a social butterfly, makes new connections often, and loves to make people laugh. Her hobbies include reading, fishing, and hunting. Alexis works in the medical field as a paramedic and shows a strong passion for caring for others.
Christa is independent, selfless, and dependable. She always strives to make those around her happy. She loves to try new things, and is very good at being a go-with-the-flow person. Her hobbies include antiquing, baking, and hiking. Christa works in the social work field and shows a strong passion for helping children and families live their best lives.

Our Extended Family
We are surrounded by many nieces and nephews, mostly in Michigan, but also some in Florida, Wyoming, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania who cannot wait to meet our baby. We are often our family/friends first call when they need any help with their children. Both sides of our families are very family-centered. There is never a football game, wrestling meet, rodeo, baseball, or softball game where our entire family doesn’t take up an entire section. We have many close friends who are like family, who already refer to themselves as our future babies aunts and uncles. Many of them have children of their own and we talk with them often about taking future family camping trips and vacations with all of the cousins. We also always include our dogs in every family trip and adventure as they are a big part of our lives. We specifically look for places to visit that allow dogs and have hiking trails, dog parks, and dog-friendly businesses. Our dogs absolutely love all of our nieces and nephews who range in age from newborn to 10 years old. We also have two cats, who both love to snuggle with us and our dogs.
Our Home
We have a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home on an acre in Michigan. We regularly take our dogs to hiking trails and parks as we have many right by us. There are often community events/festivals specifically for kids that we frequent often with nieces/nephews. These events include sports, seasonal holidays, or just family-centered events. We also only live 30 minutes from where the majority of our family lives, with one being on an 80 acre farm with horses, cows, chickens, riding trails, and regularly held rodeos. We have several family members that either work at or own programs at the local schools near us, so regardless of which school our child attends they will always have plenty of support and family close-by.
Our Journey to Adoption
We love the outdoors including hiking and beaching with our dogs, kayaking, longboarding, boating, fishing, rodeos, and exploring nature parks. We also enjoy going to concerts, community and sporting events, orchards, and live shows. We are extremely excited about being able to share all of these experiences with our future child.
We are thankful for the opportunity of adoption and hope you consider allowing us to become the mothers we have both always wanted to be. We are dedicated to providing a safe, stable home for our child to thrive in, filled with love, adventure, and an undoubtedly large amount of support!
