We’d like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to read our story. While we cannot fully understand the emotions you may be experiencing, we deeply admire the maturity and strength it must take to consider adoption. We have so much respect for the thoughtful decision you are making for yourself and your baby.
Becoming parents has always been a dream for us, even before we met each other. Today, we are in a stable and loving place in our lives and fully prepared to welcome a child into our family. Michael is a deputy with our local sheriff’s office, and Eric works in leadership at a credit union. We enjoy spending time with family, traveling, music, and creating meaningful memories together.
Family is the most important part of our lives. Our families are a source of encouragement, love, and support. They provide a true sense of community and belonging we wish to share with our baby. We have seven nephews who have given us years of experience caring for babies and watching them grow into wonderful young boys.
We believe adoption is the right path for us because we know love, commitment, and stability are what truly make a family. Your baby would grow up in a home filled with laughter, support, and unconditional love. They would always know their adoption story and the incredible love and selflessness of their birth mother.

Our Story
Our day-to-day life is centered around quality time together, family, and enjoying the little moments. During the week, we both work hard in careers we enjoy, but we always make time to reconnect at the end of the day by cooking dinner, listening to music, watching movies, or relaxing at home together.
On weekends, we usually spend time with family, whether that’s poolside cookouts with Eric’s family, beach days with Michael’s family, game nights playing Phase 10, or visiting favorite local restaurants. We also love decorating our home for the holidays and creating traditions throughout the year.
In our free time, Michael enjoys playing guitar and writing music, while Eric enjoys gardening, decorating, and trying new recipes. We both love traveling and exploring new places. Even with our love for travel, we are homebodies at heart and cherish simple moments together at home. We cannot wait to someday share those memories and traditions with a child.

Our Extended Family

Eric also has a younger sister, Danielle, and her husband, Wyatt, who have three boys: Walker, Clayton, and baby Levi. We love spending time together having poolside cookouts, family gatherings, and competitive game nights playing Phase 10.
Michael’s family is just as close and special to us. His mom, Anne, has a big heart and loves bringing everyone together. Michael also has two older sisters, Emily and Melissa, who together have four sons: Jake, Luke, Kaleb, and Peyton. Watching them grow into successful young adults has been so rewarding. We enjoy beach days, family dinners at Texas Roadhouse, and simply spending quality time together.
Along with close friends who feel like family, we know our future child would grow up surrounded by love, support, and meaningful memories.

Our Home
We live in a beautiful three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in North Florida that we completely remodeled ourselves before moving in. We wanted to create a warm and welcoming space for our family, pets, and future child. Our neighborhood is very family-oriented and hosts events throughout the year, including holiday celebrations, food trucks, and children’s activities. We also have a community pool and playground nearby, and we look forward to spending afternoons there as a family. Education is important to us, and we are fortunate to live in an A-rated school district. We are also close to beautiful beaches, Universal Orlando Resort, and Walt Disney World. Our cat, Dad, and dog, Georgia, complete our home with lots of love and personality.
Our Journey to Adoption
We both love traveling and creating experiences together, especially when it involves visiting filming locations from some of our favorite movies. As horror movie fans, many of our trips include exploring places connected to films like Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and the Scream franchise.
One of our favorite memories was getting married in Las Vegas by Elvis and honeymooning in Los Angeles, where we explored famous filming locations and iconic landmarks. We love discovering hidden places, trying new foods, and making meaningful memories together. More than anything, we look forward to continuing those adventures as a family through vacations, movie nights, holidays, and all the little moments that come with raising a child.
