Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to start with how brave you are for considering adoption. We cannot imagine how difficult of a decision this is and are so grateful for you considering us to raise your son or daughter. We want you to know, if you choose us, no matter what the circumstances surrounding the adoption, no matter what your level of comfortability is with contact, we will always share our gratitude and love for you completing our family. You will always be part of your baby’s story and will always be loved and appreciated by all of us. This is our third adoption, and what we can tell you from being adoptive parents already is that we promise to love and protect your baby as if they came from us. We know our daughters, who are also adopted, are just thrilled at the opportunity to be big sisters and will be able to support your son or daughter in their adoption story as well.
You are making a selfless decision, and we want you to know we will love your baby as our own and you will never have to worry about the safety and wellbeing of your child. Know that we support you and this decision every step of the way and are so thankful for you considering us as your baby’s adoptive family and allowing us to expand our family from a family of four to a family of five.
Much love and respect,
Scott, Kimberly, Raelynn and Hailey

Our Story
We are so excited to share the story of our loving family. We are a family of four: Kimberly, Scott, our two beautiful daughters Raelynn who is five and Hailey who is a year and a half years old and of course our family cats, Sassy and Sasha. Raelynn was adopted as a newborn in 2020 and Hailey was adopted as a newborn in 2024, and both have changed our world for the better! Kim is outgoing and a mom who is inseparable from her children. She is the president and CEO of a healthcare organization that has skilled nursing facilities. Scott, while he is on the shy side, is the most loving and adoring father. Scott is a local truck driver and has been a truck driver since he was just 21 years old but has recently decided to stay at home to take care of our children. Both Raelynn and Hailey are a ball of energy, love, and kindness. They are loved by all who meet them.
Our Extended Family
Both sets of grandparents live here in Florida and are actively involved in their grandchildren’s lives. They often have sleepovers with our daughters and absolutely love spending time with them. They are very supportive and live close by to assist with anything we may need. Both Kim’s sister and Scott’s brother live in Florida as well, and we enjoy being close to them and spending time with them routinely. We have three nephews and one niece. All of the cousins are extremely close with our daughters. They are far more than cousins, but best friends.
Holidays are a big thing in our family, and we all spend the holidays together. For Christmas, Santa even visits the home to give all of the children presents. We are a family that loves to create memories together, from local fairs and festivals to theme parks and even family cruises and vacations; our extended family is a close-knit family. We celebrate birthdays, holidays, and vacations as a whole unit (both sides of the family together), and that is so special to our daughters.

Our Home
We’ve lived in Florida for the past ten years. We live in a subdivision community on a cul-de-sac with the friendliest and most supportive neighbors you could meet. The neighborhood is filled with children of all ages. We have a fenced-in backyard with lots of toys and play items for our children, including a swing set, a trampoline, and even a bounce house waterslide. Our home has plenty of space for our daughters and future children. Each child will have their own bedroom, and they share a playroom chock full of toys and activities. We have two pets, our cat Sassy and our cat Sasha. Sassy and Sasha have the best relationship with the girls they play together and make the best of friends.
Our Journey to Adoption
We adopted our first baby girl in 2020 and our second daughter in 2024 - and we immediately realized what joy and love our daughters brought to our family. We will never forget the day we got the call we had been waiting for. Four months for Raelynn and a little over a year for Hailey into our adoption journey, we received the calls that would forever change our lives for the better. A birthmom had chosen us, and we had the opportunity to adopt two beautiful baby girls. While Raelynn’s adoption is a closed adoption at the choice of her birthmom, her birthmom did choose to share her email, and we have had contact with her throughout this journey. Hailey’s adoption is a semi-open adoption and we share regular pictures and updates with her birth family.
