Dear Birthmom

We cannot imagine what you are feeling as you read this letter. No matter where you are in your journey, we are so thankful for your courage, compassion, and consideration to ensure you provide the very best for your child! There is no one else but you who knows what is best for your baby!

We’d be honored to be a part of your story and would be grateful for the opportunity to partner with you! Should something in our profile create a spark that brings us together, you can expect to get to know two people who will have respect for your wishes, be empathetic to your feelings, always be open and honest as you gather information to make this decision, and perhaps be two people you may consider friends one day!

In our experience, we’ve learned there’s no perfect answer or just one thing that can check the box when it comes to parenting a child. It takes a village, a lot of courage, and some consideration on the best way to write the story. Wherever you are, whatever you’re experiencing, we’re ready and open to the possibility of writing your child’s story with you—on your terms, with your partnership, and with a combined love any child would be lucky to have! Thank you again for your incredible courage and selfless love to consider an adoption plan for your baby.

With gratitude,
Justin & Robert

Our Story

They say opposites attract. Well, that’s how we’d describe our personalities, which are very different but very complementary. Robert is very upbeat and excitable, always has a smile on his face, never meets a stranger, and approaches the day with a happy-go-lucky attitude. Justin is a bit more reserved (until he gets to know you), tends to be very organized, loves to plan every detail, and loves to be busy with something! One of our favorite activities as a couple is to go camping or spend some time at our lake cabin to enjoy a little fishing and time with our family. During the week, we keep busy with work but enjoy a flexible schedule working from home several days per week, so we have a great balance! We both work in the healthcare industry. Robert works in healthcare administration, and Justin is Vice President, Operations for a healthcare organization.

 Our Extended Family

We both come from large families, so there’s always something going on that gets us all together! Robert has two older sisters, one niece, three nephews, and countless cousins! Almost all his family live within a few miles from our home (even Mom and Grandma)! Robert’s family is fluent in Spanish and English, so it’s a fun learning experience for anyone interested in learning a different language.

Justin has two older brothers, three nieces, two nephews, and many cousins. They don’t live as close to our home, but we get to see them often! Justin’s parents live next door to our lake cabin, so we get to spend time with them a lot! We have many traditions across both families, most tied to the holidays. We also like to learn about new traditions and have even incorporated some of those into our home, especially as we’ve fostered many different children in our home. Since adopting our girls, we also have the opportunity to include their biological family into celebrations and holidays!

 Our Home

We were both born and raised in Texas and still call it home today! We live in a private golf course community in the suburbs. The neighborhood is close knit, and there are lots of kiddos. It’s one of those neighborhoods where kids still play outside, ride their bikes (or golf carts) down the street, and play with their friends. There’s always some contest or festival going on in the community, and we love to participate in both! We have a peke-pug named Elphaba, but we just call her Elphie; if you’re a fan of Wicked, yes, that’s how she got her name! She is a very attentive big sister and adores kids! Our girls attend the Elementary School in our neighborhood and really enjoy it! We are very involved in schooling and actively serve on the PTA!

 Our Journey to Adoption

We have always dreamed of having a family one day; it was the topic of discussion on our first date! We started our journey toward this moment a few years ago when we became licensed foster parents for the state! We’ve had the incredible opportunity to care for nine babies and toddlers, who each stole our hearts! During this incredible journey, we adopted two beautiful girls (now ages 6 & 7)! Our girls are very excited about the opportunity to add a baby brother/sister to our family!
