Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to begin by saying how deeply we admire your strength, your love, and the courage it takes to consider adoption. We can only imagine the weight of the decision you're facing, and we hold that with profound respect. Please know that, no matter what path you choose, you and your baby deserve to be surrounded by love, support, and compassion.

As we sit down to write this letter, our hearts are filled with gratitude—for you, and for the possibility of welcoming your child into our lives. If you choose us, we promise to honor your love by raising your baby in a home filled with kindness, stability, laughter, and endless affection. We can promise that your child will be protected, safe, educated, well-traveled, and provided a home that is founded on faith, fun, and love. Our family and close-knit community are always there for us—encouraging, uplifting, and committed to building a nurturing and inclusive world not only for our children, but for one another.

It's true that life can feel busy at times, but that's only because we're surrounded by people who value togetherness and who help us create a life full of meaningful experiences. We hope to give your child every opportunity to thrive—emotionally, spiritually, and in whatever passions they discover.

Thank you for considering us and for taking the time to get to know our hearts. We see you, we honor you, and we would be beyond honored to walk this journey with you, in whatever way you feel is right.

With all our respect and warmth,
Kennedy, Bryce, and Hazel

Our Story

Hello! We are Bryce and Kennedy! We are a loving, on-the-go, and supportive family! We love to spend time together whether it's a bike ride to the park, an adventure in a new state, or a movie night and sleepover in the living room. Our daughter, Hazel, is 3. She currently does swimming lessons, soccer, and t-ball. Bryce is active duty military, which has given us amazing opportunities to see new places around the United States. He is also currently finishing his master's degree. Kennedy is a nurse and has worked in almost every setting imaginable, but her heart is in the NICU, where both their children spent time. She is currently in school to further her nursing career. We founded a nonprofit as well to aid NICU and loss families through their respective journeys.

 Our Extended Family

We have a large extended family, and with being in the military, we also have many friends who have become more than family as well. Both of our parents are still happily married and visit often! Kennedy has only one sister but 15 cousins who are all close and talk almost every day. Bryce has 3 brothers and a nephew, so Hazel has a cousin of her own too. All of our grandparents are still living as well, so Hazel has 10 great-grandparents, which is pretty amazing! We see our families typically once a month, which is a blessing considering we don't live in the same states. We try to celebrate as many holidays as we can by spending them with family and friends. Our friends we have met have become our family and people we can lean on who are always there in seconds if needed. They treat Hazel like their own kids and us like siblings, which is such a great relationship to have. Our family and friends truly mean everything to us, and no matter how busy life gets, we're grateful to be surrounded by family and friends who are always there for us—deeply committed to creating a better environment for our children and for each other.

 Our Home

We have one dog, Mack, that is an 8-year-old husky/lab mix full of life and love to give. He is amazing with our daughter, letting her love on him with kisses and snuggles, but isn't afraid to find peace in his kennel if he needs a minute. Hazel attends an amazing daycare that has treated us like family since day one! We love to go on trips to the zoo or find a new local restaurant here in Colorado to spend our afternoons on the weekends. Fridays are movie nights where we go to the gas station down the road to pick out candy and juice, come back home to make popcorn, and sometimes end with sleepovers in the living room.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We have always considered adoption for our family, but after losing our son, Everett, to complications during delivery it solidified our decision to adopt. We want our daughter to have a sibling and a built in best friend to grow up with. We are excited to expand our family through adoption and we have the full support of everyone around us. There is so much love in our tight knit circle of family and friends we have no doubt more children will only add to that. We will ensure a new addition to our family will be loved and cherished wholeheartedly through every one of life’s moments.
